Concord Capital Management Corp (CCMC) was established in May 1988. The current capital is NT$100 million and it is a fully owned subsidiary of Concord Securities Group. The core business areas include general representative of offshore funds, funds advisory, investment management and discretionary investment services.
Details of our major business areas are listed below:
1. General Representative of Offshore Funds
We were amongst the first companies in Taiwan to introduce offshore funds. When the Government opened up the offshore fund business in 2006, we gained the leading position amongst our peers by introducing offshore funds of KBC Asset Management N.V. into Taiwan. KBC Group is ranked top 10 financial groups in Europe. With over 50 years of experience in asset management, strict
management philosophy and innovation, KBC Asset Management seeks potential industries for investors, especially in the Eastern Europe, emerging markets and themed industries.
CCMC also signed the general representative contract with the Swiss & Global Asset Management on October 26th, 2009. The symbol of the “Julius Baer Funds” comes from the well-known Julius Baer Group which with more than 100 years history. For Swiss & Global Asset Management, there has been more than 40 years of asset management experience for them and the asset management company already expanded the market scope not only for Europe and the United States, but also in the Asia area. There has been more than 1000 distributors in 30 countries right now for the Swiss & Global Asset Management company. The distinguishing feature of the products for the Swiss & Global Asset Management is basically focused on the flexible fixed income funds and the unique thematic and sector funds, and the asset management company has been very sensitive for following the market tendency and also for managing the fund products. With the introduction of KBC funds and the Julius Baer Funds, we believe that we will bring better investment choices for our investors.
2. Discretionary investment business
Acting as a respectable manager with integrity and responsibilities, we provide the most efficient management services for clients' assets. Based on clients' needs, investment is made in domestic shares, fixed income, futures, open-end beneficiary certificates in different products and markets. Professional filtering of investment targets and flexible operation has increased profitability for our clients.
3. Investment management advisory:
We provide tailor-made investment planning services to corporates and private individuals.
